CRRC Sifang leads railway sector in researching, developing, and manufacturing high-speed EMU, intercity EMU, and regional EMU. The first Chinese 200 km/h, 300 km/h and 380 km/h EMU, the first “Fuxing” EMU, and the first intercity EMU were all manufactured here. Now CRRC Sifang has developed a serialized product portfolio covering high-speed EMU and intercity EMU of different speed levels which can be adaptable to different operational environment. The CRH380A High-speed EMU developed by CRRC Sifang independently has created the world record of highest operation test speed at 486.1 km/h. The “Fuxing” EMU (CR400AF) has achieved the speed of 350km/h during operation. China has become the country who has the highest revenue operation speed on high speed rail around the world.

CRRC Sifang has participated in Qinghai-Tibet Railway Engineering Project and Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway Engineering Project and been granted the Special Award for National Science and Technology Progress.
