30 Days Countdown | 2020 China (Wuxi) International Design Expo Is Back!

It has been rooted in Wuxi for 20 years and successfully held the 15th China (Wuxi) International Design Expo. It has established a forward-looking joint exhibition platform in the field of intellectual property and design. This highly anticipated event will be held on November 14-16. This year’s expo is centered on the theme of “embrace things with the heart and create new ideas with wisdom”. The total exhibition area exceeds 20,000 square meters. Nearly 200 exhibiting companies and brands were selected, a large number of domestic and foreign design products, and more than 30 domestic and foreign intellectual property rights and designs The high-end dialogue between leaders in the industry will not only show the outstanding and innovative ideas of top design, but also show the vigorous power of local design in Jiangsu and Wuxi.

#1—— An opening event with big names

The opening event of this year's expo will be held on November 14th and consists of three parts: the opening ceremony, the appearance design awards, and the keynote speech. Leaders from the State Intellectual Property Office, Jiangsu Provincial Intellectual Property Office, Wuxi Municipal People’s Government, and Wuxi Municipal Market Supervision Administration (Municipal Intellectual Property Office) will come to the scene. #2—— Two heavyweight awards

The "China Design Patent Award" is selected from the design patent projects in the China Patent Award. The China Patent Award is made by the State Intellectual Property Office and the World Intellectual Property Organization for encouraging and commending technological (design) innovation and economic and social development. Important awards set up by patentees and inventors (designers) with outstanding contributions. The awards include 10 gold awards, 15 silver awards, and 60 outstanding awards. The "21st China Design Patent Award Presentation Ceremony" will be held at the Expo on November 14. This is the first time that the China Design Patent Award Presentation Ceremony has landed in Wuxi. At the same time, the gold award winners will also be displayed in Hall A1. Excellent design and technology.

"The Ninth Taihu Prize Design Competition and High-Value Patent Cultivation Competition", the Taihu Prize is a well-known design competition in China. It has been held concurrently with the Expo for the ninth year. The theme of this year’s Taihu Prize is "Inspiring things with heart and creating new with wisdom". After careful preparation and more than eight months of solicitation of works, a total of 3435 submissions were received. The preliminary expert group was completed on October 9. 76 selected works were selected. The promoted works that passed the preliminary evaluation will be exhibited during the expo, and there will be a fierce final road show on November 13-14. In the end, a jury composed of top domestic professionals will select the grand prize and gold, silver and bronze awards. Compete for a high prize of 2.05 million in total, and hold an award ceremony on the evening of November 14.
