GOBOT physical programming cart was inspired by Seymour Papert at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the open source project Cubetto. We’ve known the benefits of learning programming to children since a long time ago, but most experts suggest preventing children from electronic screens. GOBOT was created to solve the problem, introducing physical building blocks instead of abstract codes or virtual blocks. GOBOT combines the sense of painting robots and the sensibility of Lego blocks.
GOBOT goes beyond programming teaching; it’s also aimed to teach children basic mathematics, including geometry and game theory. GOBOT’s teaching philosophy is highly aligned with Seymour Papert’s philosophy.
