Innovative aspect:
Xunbao is a robot under the retail scenario that gains goods shelf data through visual imaging and RFID scanning, identifies commodities at the cloud, digitalizes the display of goods shelves and realizes unmanned inventory counting in combination with location navigation. When reading SKU, it can be linked with Xiubao, the 27’’ big screen marketing robot that meets consumers as a shopping guide, precisely recommends contents through facial identification and portrait linkage and allows online ordering. The combination of both will enable smart marketing and shopping guide and the closed-loop management of inventories.
Pragmatic aspect:
Xunbao’s linkage with Xiubao through visual imaging and RFID in SKU reading is what we are deploying. With connection with back-office data, Xunbao counts inventories twice every day as required, thus establishing a digital information system for the commodities in stores, with the information synchronized with Xiubao. When consumers interact with Xiubao face-to-face, Xiubao will recommend hot commodities or push discount information to consumers; after a commodity is chosen, the system which is directly connected with warehouse data will learn about commodity status, allowing online ordering or offering store navigation to improve the rate of recommendation conversion and thus enable the closed loop from inventory management to commodity recommendation and ordering.
Economical aspect:
Xunbao’s completion of inventory counting offers employees more time to improve service quality and enhance customer satisfaction; it’s also a process of inventory management and business standardization. Data collected by robots are accurate and real-time, allowing the operation team to make decisions in a more timely and effective manner, lowering cost, increasing efficiency and reducing manpower. Xiubao actively shows proper marketing advertisement, offers users intelligent shopping experience by helping them find commodities precisely and even complete purchase through interactions and movements; by developing user portraits, Xiubao helps optimize the structure of retail formats, master the overall situation and improve management and operation.
Aesthetic aspect:
Xunbao highlights its attribute as a tool in design, which focuses on the demand for functions with the column-shaped profile matched with NIMBOT’s base in pearl white; the side of the body is equipped with chamfer-shaped visual and antenna modules based on the same design language. Inheriting family language and design elements, Xiubao introduces the latest big screen with narrow frames, creating a stronger sense of technology and professionalism. Under the screen-off mode, the front side looks more integral with smoother lines.
Social aspect:
Both versions of Xunbao are made of general column-shaped profile, which lowers cost and reduces the waste of materials. The tool-oriented design maximizes functions, reduces unnecessary decorations, lowers weight and increases the service time of robots. Designed in modules, Xiubao shares its body with the company’s other robots, which is environmental protection and saves resources. Xunbao is based on the aluminum profile cutting process. To incorporate robots of different versions and components like the host machine and screen in the profile of the same size, profile of different sizes and different cutting processes were experimented with repeatedly in production. On the movement platform, the vehicle regulation-level suspension technique is adopted to ensure the body to be steady instead of toppling. Appearance consistence is considered for every component of Xiubao in both material use and processing technique. The product passed impact and some other damage tests before launch, showing its excellent performance in design and processing.
